We have not been to a wedding fayre for a very long time but thought we would take up the opportunity offered by A Kentish Wedding as we liked the idea of a small local friendly affair as opposed to the large noisy unwelcoming ones.
So any of you couples who are based in East Kent, do come along and see us at the Marine Hotel Wedding Fayre, Whitstable on Sunday 22nd February, 10am-2.30pm. A great opportunity to see a broad selection of our existing and new designs. We can discuss designs over a cup of tea!. : )
What a fab week in the French Alps at the 3 Valleys, This included a couple of days of fresh powder with glacier skiing. Our party of 8 made the most of the fresh clean mountain air for 1 week and made sure there was plenty of ‘Apres Ski’ when the lifts closed at 4.30pm! A very welcome break and now back to a busy time of looking after our 2015 brides and grooms : )
Wish I was still there!! …
What a fantastic weekend away that was. We packed up our VW camper on Friday morning and headed north to Bakewell. The inaugural L’Eroica Britannia vintage bike ride and festival was our home for the weekend.
My husband’s vintage Pinarello bicycle was put to the test after he restored it to venture on its first tough 100 mile ride. There were plenty of things to keep the non riders entertained with the beautiful Bakewell town a few minutes away and a whole host of vintage stalls to tempt. The Pimms double decker, G&T or champagne bar and local pale ale all added to the festival spirit A great opportunity for new stationery ideas too with this very ‘on-trend’ scene at present.
Well done to the organisers. Bring on 2015’s event …
